Graduate recruiters think Facebook is “dangerous”

Nearly two-thirds (65%) of graduate recruiters are wary of using Social Media and one in seven sees it as “dangerous” according to our Social Media Audit – a survey of 84 graduate recruiters, conducted in association with the AGR and launched in at their Annual Conference in July 2010. It's a timely reminder for graduate recruiters beginning to plan their 2012 activity.

Masters cash may be better spent on travel. Phillip Lane, Head of Research at Penna Barkers, comments on graduates who stay at university to a masters degree. 'Most employers do not pay a premium for a masters, so graduates won't get a return on their investment'.
