Penna are delighted to announce that Helen Alwell and Josh Bembridge have been promoted to the position of Senior Consultants. They have been delivering a high-quality service to both candidates as well as clients, and the entire team at Penna joins in congratulating them!
Helen and Josh share about their new role and what they will be doing. “I will be focussing on social care recruitment specifically within adult and children’s social care and integrated roles with health, whilst being based in the midlands I will have a national focus” says Helen.
“Much of the role will be the same, but my recent career to date has seen a focus on place based roles across the midlands and the south, as well as a focus on Strategy, Policy, Transformation, and wider corporate services where we have seen a lot of movement over the last few years” Josh adds.
The two consultants also tell us about their working life experience, where Helen says, “Having started my career within the legal profession I moved into recruitment 8 years ago and have worked during that time for GatenbySanderson and for the past 6 years with Penna progressing from Campaign Coordinator to Senior Consultant.”
Josh exclaims, “Tough one! Not sure what to say for this one so any comments would be appreciated! Having started as an Associate Consultant at Penna, through to Consultant and now Senior Consultant, has been a whirlwind. Not sure where the time has gone, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of working for Penna, with some inspiring Local Gov colleagues, and Exec recruiters such as Julie and Ben. I feel very lucky in being able to work with and learn from them every single day. We are fortunate to have met some amazing people, colleagues, friends and clients (and role models), here's to meeting many more moving forward.”
Finally, we ask them what this promotion means to them. Helen expresses her joy by saying, “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to progress within a great team for a great organisation!”
