Penna is delighted to announce that in February, Dawar Hashmi will be joining us as a
Director in our Executive Search business.
Dawar joins Penna after 23 years of experience working for large global businesses, as well as
boutique recruitment agencies. Prior to joining Penna, Dawar was a Partner within Green Park’s Civil
Society and Government Practice. He brings a wealth of executive level recruitment experience
across the public sector including Local Government, Central Government, and Health. His work on
diversity and leadership is truly exceptional, having been a prominent figure on the national agenda
on EDI, he founded the Diversity in Local Government Leadership network comprising several key sector leaders, and served as a Board member with The Staff College, among other things.
He says, “It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey so far and I feel proud of my achievements.”
When the opportunity to work with Penna presented itself, Dawar could not say no:
